The CFCArts Big Band presents
THE JOURNEY OF JAZZ

Join the CFCArts Big Band – a dynamic, powerful, and award-winning ensemble – for a powerhouse performance of jazz in many of its forms – from its roots in New Orleans to the big band swing of the ’30s, the bebop revolution of the ’50s, and the soulful sounds of the ‘70s. Jazz is one of America’s first true musical inventions, and this concert will prove just how vibrant, relevant, and fun it is!
From the swingin’ sounds of Duke Ellington and Count Basie to the feel-good vibes of Chuck Mangione and the jazz-funk-soul fusion of Stevie Wonder and Earth, Wind & Fire, this concert will be a celebration of the jazz legends who revolutionized music.
Jazz musicians have innovated and inspired for over a century, and we’re bringing it all to life in one concert of music as eclectic as it is electrifying. So hold onto your hats and get ready to experience the rhythm, the energy, and the undeniable thrill of jazz through the decades
